Due to tightening of the Health Telematics Act and GDPR, as a healthcare facility we are legally prohibited without exception from communicating medical matters and all patient-related issues via unsecured channels—including email by definition, and fax from 1.1.2025—with other healthcare facilities or patients personally, even if they explicitly consent in writing. This prohibition unfortunately also includes sending prescription duplicates, time confirmations, or surgery registrations, etc. Therefore, we cannot and may not respond to emails regarding you as a patient of our practice in any such matters.
